Samir returns from Kazan victorious!

After our Thaiboxing-Instructor was able to win his fight in Russia, he will now be back on Tuesday to teach in Frankfurt!

Samir Al Mansouri took the step into the “round of 16” of the “Tatneft Cup”, by winning against the experienced Parinya, from Thailand! After three rounds of tough Thaiboxing, he was able to secure the victory by points in an extra round!

The rules at the “Tatneft Cup” are different than the usual ones in Thaiboxing. If nobody scores a knock down or knock out in one of the first three rounds, there will be an extra round, no matter what else happens during the fight. The fight went well for our boy Samir. He was moving forward all the time and used his great boxing skills to dominate his opponent. Parinya used a lot of kicks to keep the distance, so that Samir had a hard time with trying to put the grip on him to finish the fight. Finally Samir got his hand raised as the deserving winner, after he could keep the pressure during the whole extra round!

Samir will be back at MMA Spirit on Tuesday to give the Thaiboxing classes! He is looking forward to give you hell of a training again ! Osu! 😉
