Hesse´s prime minister Volker Bouffier (CDU) has just declared that gyms will be allowed to stay open under the current regulations, which can be found HERE.
The news come to a huge relief and some surprise as many believed that all gyms would need to close again after yesterday evening´s political Corona meeting. The retail industry will have to move back from “click&meet” to “click&collect”, whereas barbershops, drug stores and home improvement centers can stay open. It was also announced that the country of Germany plans a total lockdown of 5 days during Easter holidays starting on Thursday, April 1st until Monday, April 5th.
